Utilising advanced robotic technology, Dr Manohar performs highly precise, complex urological surgery, particularly for prostate and kidney cancer, as well as benign conditions affecting the kidneys and ureters. Robotic-assisted techniques provide enhanced visualisation, precision and control, allowing complex procedures to be performed through small incisions while carefully preserving surrounding healthy tissue where possible. For appropriately selected patients, this may mean less post-operative pain, reduced blood loss, shorter hospital stays and a faster return to everyday activities.

An enlarged prostate is a common part of ageing, but troublesome urinary symptoms do not have to be accepted as inevitable. Dr Manohar offers a comprehensive range of modern treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), helping men experiencing a weak urinary stream, urgency, difficulty emptying the bladder and frequent night-time urination. Recognising that every patient’s symptoms, anatomy and priorities are different, he offers treatments including UroLift® and Rezūm™, as well as established surgical procedures such as TURP and HoLEP.

Chronic pelvic pain can be complex and frequently misunderstood, sometimes leaving patients frustrated when standard investigations fail to identify a clear cause. Dr Manohar has a special interest in difficult-to-treat urological and pelvic pain, drawing on dedicated one-on-one training with senior pain specialists in Australia. His expertise includes the assessment and management of complex conditions such as persistent pelvic pain, post-prostatectomy pain, post-vasectomy pain syndrome and selected nerve-related pain conditions. His individualised, multimodal approach aims to identify contributing factors, reduce persistent symptoms and improve long-term quality of life.

Illness, trauma, congenital abnormalities and complications from previous surgery can disrupt the normal structure and function of the urinary tract. As Head of Functional & Reconstructive Urology at Monash Health, Dr Manohar has particular expertise in complex reconstructive procedures designed to restore urinary function and improve quality of life. He manages conditions including urethral stricture disease, urinary incontinence, urethral trauma, buried penis, bladder neck obstruction and complications arising from previous urological procedures.

For men experiencing severe erectile dysfunction or urinary incontinence, particularly following prostate cancer treatment or previous pelvic surgery, prosthetic surgery can provide an effective long-term solution when other treatments have been unsuccessful. Dr Manohar performs specialised procedures including penile prosthesis implantation and surgery for male urinary incontinence, helping appropriately selected patients restore function, confidence and quality of life.

Dr Manohar provides comprehensive investigation and management for a wide range of bladder and urinary tract conditions. This includes the assessment of haematuria (blood in the urine), as well as the management of urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, urinary retention, recurrent urinary tract infections and other complex bladder conditions. His approach focuses on identifying the underlying cause of symptoms and developing an individualised treatment plan to improve urinary function and quality of life.

Dr Manohar provides comprehensive care for men’s health and general urological conditions across every stage of adult life. His expertise includes erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, male infertility, low testosterone and conditions affecting the testes, including testicular lumps, pain and cancer. He also performs common urological procedures including vasectomy and circumcision for patients aged 16 years and over.
